@propensive I can't get the regex examples to compile locally - are you sure it shouldn't read regex"^[0-9]{1,13}(\.[0-9]*)?$$" instead?

Yes, you're correct on both points. Where were you taking the example from?
I also added some simplifications to the API let night, too. Will be adding the docs soon!
