Pairing is pairing. Using another programmer’s editor is an important skill. Also we preload the laptop for them.

I think pairing would probably make me throw up. Same issue as whiteboarding, someone is watching/waiting.
It always found it intriguing how people like to write stuff on whiteboards rather than just paper.
