it's hard to be un-opinionated. Opinions are - after all - like ass holes. Everyone has one.

I like Raptures concept of "we will fit into whatever workflow you prefer" but many don't know what to prefer.

Some people are absolutely desperate for someone to show them "the right way" and they may never be rapture users.

I tend to hate the term "opinionated", but I believe in certain cases the approach has its place.

E.g., I would say the "framework" of sorts we've assembled for building our services internally is HIGHLY opinionated.

Which is arguably the right choice within a company. Twitter is very much the same way w/ Finatra, Mesos, Heron, etc

The problem, though, is that our opinions won't make much sense to many users. But for us it saves a lot of effort.
