It's 2016, and @PayPal still doesn't accept phone numbers with country codes. And to punish you for using one they delete your card details.

@propensive@PayPal I find it even worse that they don't allow you to have 2 cards from two different countries within the same account...
@hasumedic @PayPal That's probably because they need to have a single country with which to interpret your localised phone number. :(
