I now have a desktop with Gitter, Slack, Twitter, Facebook, GMail and GitHub always open. For keeping updated it's horrible but adequate.
@gaustin I should have said: the difference is that I dip into all six at the same time because they're now all on the same screen.

@gaustin It still has various annoyances. I miss notifications in Slack and Twitter sometimes due to multiple accounts.
