Lots of companies are heavy consumers of open source software. Odd though how rare it is to see one contribute PRs back to depended-on OSS.

Would be cool for companies to "give back" by giving employees OSS bonuses; you contribute x PRs this year to OSS, you get an x *
$y bonus
.@heathercmiller It would be great to have PRs considered akin to "patentable ideas" when considering someone's value to their employer.
