Even after all these years, log4j and slf4j are a complete mystery to me.

@propensive@ceki the usual way this goes is: 1. I change every XML and .properties file I can find. 2. That does nothing. 3. I softly weep.
@runarorama @ceki Another thing: how did you test step 2? Presumably you're logging something to find out if it happened. Maybe it didn't.
