Even after all these years, log4j and slf4j are a complete mystery to me.

@ceki @runarorama I think having different ways of configuring it is mysterious. How do you know which takes precedence?

@ceki@runarorama The basic logger I wrote only supports config in code. If you want config from envmnt/file, then you have to wire it up.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@propensive@ceki the usual way this goes is: 1. I change every XML and .properties file I can find. 2. That does nothing. 3. I softly weep. -
@runarorama@ceki Looks like you forgot to change your cmdline properties, JAR manifest and a custom logging adapter, deep in some library.
