Every time someone pronounces the word "homogeneous" as "hoe-moe-jeen-ee-us," I have to mentally translate it to "huh-maw-jenn-us."
@kf Ahh, I see... I'm not sure everyone else did though! It doesn't help that they mean basically the same thing...

@propensive Practically speaking, they mean exactly the same thing in popular usage; only certain kinds of technical writers differentiate. -
@kf I'm not one of those certain kinds - I'm with the homogenous masses. (I swiped that on my on-screen keyboard; either word could've won!)
