Poll: Do you just "neutrally" describe oddities in APIs in the docs, or do you give a technical explanation why they're there?
@larsr_h I think it depends on the target audience and writing style (e.g. tutorial vs API docs)

@larsr_h I'd suggest the neutral approach, then. But that then increases the need for tutorial-style docs as well.
