Unless I'm missing something SimpleDateFormat("YYYY") is busted for days in January. (I.e. it's always the same as "yyyy"). #whatamimissing

@propensive It does in Java 7: http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java/text/SimpleDateFormat.html … And YYYY and yyyy do differ for days at the end of December.
