Politicians, simply stating “X is the right thing to do”, or “It is right that …” does not strengthen your argument, it weakens it.

@propensive@joescii maybe. Too often all I hear is “it’s right that …”, “no it’s right that the opposite blah…”, round and round. -
@channingwalton@joescii Cut them some slack - remember, politicians mainly talk to the majority of their electorate, not people like us. ;)
