@propensive or a measure that your project checks a lot of things with types and/or typeclasses and/or might be based on Shapeless :D
`scalac -Xlog-implicits | wc -l` is a great way to debug slow compilation if you suspect it's caused by implicit search.

@mandubian I was actually comparing lines of output from different sources. Found lines = 2^n + k, where n was levels of case class nesting. - Show replies
