      @propensive Perhaps in the past when corps had much longer term outlook. Usually biggest issue with PLCs is making the quarter look good!

      @mhallsmoore But it's the investors that have the long term outlook, so making a qtr look good ought to correlate to making 10y look good.

      @propensive Possibly. Most (PLC) investors tend to be concerned with shorter term capital gain, rather than longer term dividend investment.
