      @khrabrov Well, you should love Rapture JSON! https://github.com/propensive/rapture-json … - it supports pluggable parsers, so works with other libraries!

      @propensive my problem is that spray has its own, play had its own, Scalatra at least has json4s which also works with native or Jackson BEs

      @jlarmstrong @khrabrov The syntax looks a bit verbose too, but I'll need to try it. Looks like the AST with integrate nicely with Rapture!

      @jlarmstrong @khrabrov and a parser knows how to read and write its own AST. Converting should be a matter of joining some dots... :)
