I'm disappointed with Bintray: it promised so much more than Sonatype, but still needs a 15-page manual and I've failed to publish anything.

@propensive let us help. What did work for you, what was unclear in the docs?
@jbaruch and other details which didn't seem to apply to me. Part of the problem is me: I don't want to learn Maven or SBT just to publish.
