@propensive we've fixed two causes of that for 2.10.2 (SI-6921 SI-7239)
@retronym The real cause was my own code, but it will be nice to have a more meaningful error! Thanks!

@propensive Could you confirm whether 2.10.2-SNAPSHOT (which has these fixes) reports the errors correctly? -
