      I find it funny how everyone is jumping on this tweet to make fun of OOP patterns but no one points out that this is exactly what Scala’s implicits are.

      Oh I know, but “tricks to avoid passing arguments to function” is a pretty good definition of implicits! And blame @propensive for resurrecting it today, I hadn’t realised it was not a very recent tweet
