        It wouldn't seem so much like magic if you weren't so familiar with the current model, which I believe is unnecessarily complicated!

        This looks cool, as far as timing goes, this https://github.com/scalacenter/scala-debug-adapter … just got split out from metals, and there is an example sbt plugin to add the debug support for visual studio code, might be an opportunity for fury

        Thanks! It would probably be more reasonable in a couple of weeks when I've merged a few things from that demo into master, but I think it would be quite straightforward to get a specs2 build working.
