I want to define a tripartite `Result` type which represents success, expected failure and unexpected failure (not for the first time I've tried but I have union types now!). It would be nice if I could find three equal-length words which convey these concepts. Which do you like?

Equal length suggestion: "success", "mistake", "unknown"
That's pretty good. I've thought about "Mistake" before, though I always felt that it suggested a programming error, rather than a runtime error...

In that case, "failure" might work. As they are limited in number (despite how many words there are in English), individual words can carry only so much nuance...
