Maybe self-types? I know that one has confused some of my coworkers starting out. Maybe it's already covered in one of the other sections and I didn't notice.

There will certainly be a lesson on self-types. It's possible to get a long way in Scala without seeing them these days. I guess they would be an intermediate topic, though.

Where are for-comprehensions?

There's going to be a whole topic of several lessons on for-comprehensions. "Option, Try and Future" and "Monads" are two of those, but I'll actually fit a couple more lessons in before and after those.

Nice - can you do a quick crib sheet for converting scala 2 to scala 3

I think we will do *something* like that, but it might be more like a complete course for conversion, rather than just a crib sheet. The current Scala course doesn't assume any knowledge of Scala 2, so I think there might be demand for a different, shorter course which does.
