Yep. It's also an exploitation of privilege. If I have a problem with one of your libraries, I can backchannel bug you until I get a resolution. Most people can't and that's really toxic and unfair.
And I might take ages to respond because so many others are doing the same. I always wanted to be better at curating answers, but too much satisfaction comes from the one happy customer, not the five minutes spent copy/pasting/editing afterwards and speculative future hordes.
Exactly. It's a negative feedback loop. I have some hope for GitHub Discussions on that front, but only a little. We need a chat system that people can agree on.
