As I was deciding on what size combo to order from @Wendys it occurred to me it’s weird that our industry only lets us pick between microservices and monoliths. Why can’t we upsize our microservices to medium sized?
The allure of the extreme: when a change seems to be an improvement over what came before, there's a tendency to take that as a signal that the "right" thing to do is go as far as possible in the same direction...
