Totally unsurprising life hack: a little bit of regular, very reasonable weight lifting, and regular stretches, completely got rid of back pains that I eventually realised were always present, to varying degrees, for the past 5 years or so.
In which months (1..12) did you see the biggest positive/negative difference to your back?

Negative was the first couple of months, because: - I didn't start stretching until much later - weight lifting is not good on your back until you learn proper form - male ego got the better of me and I rushed to lift heavy, not lift well
-
Positive is much harder to say. I just realised Monday that I hadn't felt pain in a while, and consciously started monitoring it. As far as I can tell, the dull ache and the sudden stabbing pains are gone
