I'd like the alarm app on my phone to have a checkbox to mark an alarm "important". Choosing it would force me to confirm the date/time, always be visible on-screen to reassure me, forbid it to be silent even if my volume is off, and forbid it be canceled without confirming.
There are just too many things right now that might mean an alarm doesn't happen when you want it to. I don't think it would be difficult for an alarm app designer to fix. In other news, I have to be awake at 4.30am tomorrow for a flight.
