We look down on anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists, however I've seen many software developers believe in the ketogenic diet, or even in the (gasp) carnivore diet. Guys, sorry, but Keto is the anti-vaxxing movement of nutrition. The carbohydrate-insulin model is complete BS.

This kind of proof by authority, to authorities who have created a health crisis through diet recommendations, isn’t scientific. By contrast with health advice, empirically, vaccines have basically eliminated the measles. Not all authorities are created equally.

I’d recommend starting here to get an idea about just how tricky nutrition is (It’s a Layman overview, but pretty good IMO):https://www.vox.com/2016/1/14/10760622/nutrition-science-complicated …

I've been doing this for some time
@fsvehla, I did Keto for a whole year, I read multiple books. I know all of the arguments. Saying that "nutrition is hard" doesn't mean that we have to accept bullshit, or ignore basic human physiology, or physics.
