Yeah it's a tangential point. I see people fail interviews by repeatedly asking questions like "can I see a reflection somewhere else" after it has been clearly stated that the premise of the problem is "no mirrors."

People who get angry about riddle interviews typically don't realize that this kind of communication signal can actually be representative of real frustrating work conversations... along with signal that's just willingness to do the work.
