Have you learned Polish entrance/exit?
I just checked... it might take me a while to learn the difference. However...I have a great trick: if you're already inside, and you see a w–jście, it's an exit, and if you're outside and you see a w–jście, it's an entrance!

It reminds me a bit of French: the words for above and below differ only in the vowel sound, and to an English native's ear the two French vowels sound close enough that they would map onto the same English vowel. "Sous" vs "sus".
