It happens to me quite frequently in Polish that I spot some "logic" (by design or accident) that is invisible to a native. I think that by the time a native develops logic skills, the basics of their language are so deeply ingrained, they aren't ever subconsciously "reviewed".

I just checked... it might take me a while to learn the difference. However...I have a great trick: if you're already inside, and you see a w–jście, it's an exit, and if you're outside and you see a w–jście, it's an entrance!
