If I wanted to find every usage of `MyType#equals` in my codebase (because I want to replace it with `Eq`) what would be a good way to do that?

Wartremover has a wart for uses of != or ==, it wouldn't fix it for you but at least would find all usages.

That was all I wanted, anyway. I prefer not to have anything other than humans messing with my code. ;)

I usually enable wartremover whenever I work with Scala, there is so many small things that are easy to forget and that it catches for you

I've never used it, but I probably did learn to avoid all or most of the warts the hard, slow way...
