The streets of Kraków are mostly quiet, but every so often I watch an ambulance rush along the full length of these streets, and it's quite eerie to think that it's probably for another victim.pic.twitter.com/TvEZaOJLfO

This reminds me: how do you get the news about the new regulations/restrictions from the government? All I have seen are (obviously) in Polish...
Luckily the police drive round regularly, announcing with a recorded message, "Uwaga! Jest tu policja! Mamy stan epidemiczne! <more>" and each time I hear a little more, and learn a bit more Polish; about a word a day. Still waiting to hear something I didn't already deduce.
"Jest tu Policja" would mean "The police *is* here". "Tutaj Policja!" means "Police speaking [here]!" and they say "Mamy stan epidemii!" which means "We have a state of epidemic!". "Mamy stan epidemiczny" would mean "epidemic state", and "epidemiczne" is plural non-male-personal
then they say "Chroń siebie, i bliskich!" which means "Protect yourself, and your close ones!"
(probably; i know the Poznań version; although the recording might have went countrywide)
It sounds at least like it contains the same information, even if it's not the same recording.
