I have spent most of today banging eyelets into sack cloth. Not figuratively. But I now have twelve uninterrupted metres of self-watering flowerbed on my balcony. And nothing growing in it.

And a subsequent inventory check suggests that I buried a sharp knife somewhere in the flowerbed. That'll be a surprise for someone in a decade or two.
