I'm actually wondering whether Flight Radar 24 (that's where the screenshot is from) have a system that has detected a suspicious lack of data coming from their plane-tracking servers, and their frontend has just plotted some fake data to make users think everything's ok...

Big airplanes. Hard to get a real count off that graphic though, its more than I expect but some amount may be necessary to coordinate essential services.

Yeah, at this scale the view always looks like "too many planes", but it still seems like a lot. Maybe many of them are mostly-empty planes returning staff to base...?

I read somewhere that many ocean shipments are stalled due to understaffed docks, and that countries are scrambling for medical supplies using air shipments instead.
