Welcome to the club. I've not repurposed the entryway, but that is a lot of living space. It is still useful for taking out trash and the like, but I can already hear your reply of "Seventh-floor balcony: check."

Haha!! I have to admit, though, part of me feels liberated that it just became socially acceptable to cut myself off from the rest of society for maybe weeks... not that I'll be needing social acceptance where I am.

Been trying to do this for years. But kids still got to go to school. For now. Amazon, Dominos, etc keeps knocking on the door. I have yet not managed to hit the bins outside from the window. Should install a winch for deliveries...
