When Fury bootstraps, it builds a fat JAR, using (pure Java) Apache Commons IO to ZIP everything up in parallel. (It's quite fast.) It's been working great for a while. But it doesn't work when I invoke it over SSH from the terminal within VS Code. Any ideas?

Yeah, I took a look at that actually, and the diff was about 20 lines, but there was nothing obvious. I suppose I could try setting the env to the non-SSH version and seeing if that works, though... and then bisect.

And it's revealed the answer, thank you: `LANG=en_GB.utf8` vs `LANG=en_US.UTF-8`. So, I think this points strongly to an encoding issue with filenames.
