You know there’s an API for that in coursier: https://github.com/coursier/coursier/blob/master/modules/coursier/shared/src/test/scala/coursier/complete/CompleteTests.scala … Works even with ~/.ivy2/local or any other Maven / Ivy repository.

No, I made a little note about that in the PR. And it's annoying... I couldn't persuade the effectively-undocumented API to do a prefix search. Advice very welcome, though.
