      What was the outcome of the attempted migration to Discord, @jvican @olafurpg? I like the UI, but now my users are split across n+1 chat clients... If there's consensus to stick with Discord, I'll aggressively shutdown my Gitter channels.

      Looks like there’s no consensus at all and chat fragmentation still exists. I’m now unconvinced Discord was a good alternative, but I no longer use Gitter for my projects. Wish we could just all agree on Riot https://discourse.mozilla.org/t/synchronous-messaging-at-mozilla-the-decision/50620 …

      Actually! Important update: Riot has bridges with both Gitter and Slack which means... hell yeah you can only use Riot but still get to see messages published in Gitter and Slack channels 🤩 I'm so joining this. I think I'm going to promote the bloop community in Riot officially

      Almost everything I've seen there so far has been positive, though in nervous about jumping straight in with so little practical experience of using it.
