This comes after a week in which much ill-feeling has been quenched by positive thoughts and actions by other community members. I know that @scala_the has been affected by this negativity much more than any alleged "toxicity", and that they're not alone in feeling this way.
And I think that people have many reasons for using an alias online, and we shouldn't jump to any conclusions that they're trolls just because they find it easier not to share their real identity.
