Does anyone know why the international terminal at SFO, unlike the other terminals, does not have a number? Consequently, it's often referred to as "Terminal I". Obviously I went to Terminal 1 for my international flight.

That is a very interesting point. Busses often have numbers but platforms at big bus stops letters or something like D6. If subway platforms are labeled with numbers, lines should use letters or vice versa. But often subway platforms are just labeled by the line +xxx-bound.

I really miss the xxx-bound part on metro systems which display the end station instead...
