Some contrarian advice for job candidates: don't try to improve your interview technique. If you're genuinely a good candidate, it shouldn't be in your interests to be hired by a company that would be easily fooled by anything so superficial as "good interview technique".

Like any big name in the tech industry or all the shiny startup ? You should not read cracking the coding interview?
In general I'm saying, don't put a lot of effort into creating a façade, because if you're pretending to be something you're not, that's going to help neither you nor the company hiring you in the long run.

What about a "facade" which doesn't represent what is needed in daily life (like coding complicated algorithm on a whiteboard) but open some doors? Btw I agree with you with the philosophy... But reality doesn't conform
