I once worked on a translator from Polish to Interslavic - a Slavic esperanto. The idea was that the grammar works 1-to-1 so I can translate words' roots and just choose appropriate suffixes. I gave up after introducing the tenth declension category.

It was a phase :) My greatest achievement was to write a short story in it. And I learned Scala coding that translator.
