I've been partially deaf for a couple of days, with no hearing in one ear. It's disconcerting, and I hear my own voice very loudly while everyone else complains I'm talking too quietly. But there's progress: today, I can hear much better if I tilt my head 90 degrees.

I had a sudden hearing loss syndrome on one ear a couple of years ago. That’s very discomforting. I hope you‘ll be better soon.
Thanks, Martin! It's more of an annoyance than anything... disorientating, and I keep having to ask people to repeat things, while my head is on its side.
