I've been partially deaf for a couple of days, with no hearing in one ear. It's disconcerting, and I hear my own voice very loudly while everyone else complains I'm talking too quietly. But there's progress: today, I can hear much better if I tilt my head 90 degrees.

Disclaimer, not a doctor. This could be https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patulous_Eustachian_tube …, or something less serious like wax blocked against the eardrum. Regardless, you should probably see a Doctor because this kind of thing doesn't resolve by itself.
Oh, thank you, notwithstanding the disclaimer! I've had this happen a couple of times before, so I'm not too concerned, and today's change is consistent with past experience. (Also, I won't be able to see a doctor for a few weeks due to travel...)
