Yikes. That doesn’t inspire a great amount of confidence. Did they explain the situation?
They described it as "a situation", but the pilot didn't sound too concerned. Though I do wonder if "not sounding concerned" is a significant part of her job... Back at the airport now, awaiting news. I'll probably be spending the night in Warsaw as Tokyo flights aren't frequent.

It happened to me the last year, the plane back in the middle of the way and the pilot said "I hope that we can make it and back to the airport." but they mentioned that it was a technical defect and all people were scared. I am grateful that you're safe.

Thank you. Nobody on the flight seemed concerned, though... But the pilot didn't mention "hope" at any point, so that probably made a difference!
