It would be interesting to see an actual accounting of the number of co-conspirators needed assuming the flat earth thing is true. My guess is 10s of millions would have to be in on it: airlines, space industry, telecom, government, astronomers, professional sailors....
Isn't it sufficient just to phone anyone in a different timezone and ask them where the sun appears?
