I've been to almost every Scala conference for the last decade. This year I'll go to 19 events, and it's too much. So I've decided to cut back in 2020 and just do five. It's been a wild ride: fun, enlightening, and at times heartwarming. I'll be sorry not to see you all so often.
Unlike when I started out, most conferences pay my travel and accommodation expenses these days, and I'm really grateful they do, because I know most of them are working to a tight budget...
