I meant self love is something positive that has side effect to others.
I just meant that from your original statement we deduce that, "if you're happy when you're in a relationship, then you will be happy when you're single"... and I wasn't so sure about it. ;)

From experience: As adult(-ish) people we need to perform a lot of tedious tasks on top of just having a life: chores, taxes, accomodation management, car repairs, etc. Being forced to handle all this alone can be a serious bummer to one's mental state

That's just flawed logic though. "not(A) implies not(B)" is not equivalent with "B implies A".
