@scalaworldconf What kind of transport do you recommend for getting to Scala World conf? I cannot say it's easy for me to find a fly ticket to that region, not speaking about reaching the Penrith :-D

I'd recommend flying to Manchester, Edinburgh or Glasgow and then getting a train. Manchester is easiest (direct train from airport), whereas Edinburgh and Glasgow need a change via tram or bus.

Or, renting a car makes it easier to get around once you're in the Lake District, if you want to explore. You can do all the conference activities with conference transport if you're staying in Penrith, though. A car makes Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle possible airports, too.

When can we expect more overall info on the website?

I'll be updating the website this month with more information, and start announcing the speakers. But if there's anything else you need to know, just ask! And tag @propensive for a quicker response. ;)

Thanks for the reminder, though it was already at the forefront of my mind! But yes, sorry I'm still behind schedule on this (and half a dozen other things)... it's now "ASAP", but progress is being made!

No problem, it's still plenty of time. It's just my boss wants to see something more than is currently visible and tickets are getting more expensive, you know 😁

We have kind of an anniversary today, don't we? I'm your conscience, muhehe 😈

It's helping, though, don't worry! Everything is fighting for my attention right now, and I reprioritize on the basis of the statistical frequency of reminders, modulo my various cognitive biases...
