Yes... though I'm not sure I was ever "educated" to speak, as such, and I didn't inherit the dialects of my family or of the area I grew up in...

From what I can tell living as an outsider in the UK, "educated" accents are a product of socialisation rather than explicit instruction. I have a friend who went to Oxford and lost a lot of their Birmingham accent, but that's not because Oxford has elocution lessons.
