Again, I don't think you need to be escalating to terms like "fascism". It doesn't bring anything useful to the discussion, and if you're mentally pigeonholing Reddit moderators with the likes of Hitler, it's extremely wrongheaded. Save those descriptions for actual fascists.

No, but using that description is a little confidence trick to make the actions of a forum moderator seem much worse than they really were. The more you repeat it, the more anyone reading will come to believe it. I can see through it, and I don't think it's helpful.

this is not a con, this is what I believe. So what you're saying is you know better than I what my beliefs are? Uh..

I trust that most people reading this will make a judgement about the moderators' behavior, make a comparison to what they know of fascism, and if you're saying you truly believe they're the same, I hope they'll take that into account when reading any other claims.

I really just think it's an unnecessary escalation of language, which also devalues the word to make it harder to talk about genuine fascists.

i know what i said. stop trying to explain that i didn't mean what i said. I'm not going to change my mind because you suddenly came to grips with how bad the mods' behavior is in others' judgment and are having trouble accepting it. if you don't like it, tell the mods to change.
